Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance at a New Jersey benefit show Saturday night.
The Asbury Park Press reports Springsteen joined Boccigalupe and the Badboys at The Press Room in Asbury Park as part of a benefit for the family of his former trainer Tony Strollo, who passed away last month at the age of 40.
Strollo, who owned a personal training business in Tinton Falls, NJ called Professional Fitness, was Springsteen’s trainer during the 2008-2009 Magic Tour.
Springsteen and Boccigalupe and the Badboys performed six songs together, including “Rosalita,” “Soul Man,” “634-5789,” “Detroit Medley,” “Hold On, I'm Coming” and “10th Avenue Freeze-Out.”
