Steven Tyler continues to make the rounds promoting the new season of American Idol.
Last week, Tyler and fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson were on The Tonight show plugging the series, and even hooked up with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry for a version of the band’s “Chip Away At The Stone” (watch it here).
Steven sat down with Access Hollywood this week to talk about all things Idol, including what it means to his expanding fan base.
“It’s about getting our music heard by people,” explains Tyler. “We write the songs because we want the people to sing it…and, so, the younger the better. And because of the internet and TV now, it’s like 'forget about it' – I can’t go anywhere – and I kinda like that.”
