Guitar legend Johnny Winter made his first live tv appearance in 30 years this week on the Letterman show.
Johnny continues to tour in support of his latest release, “Roots,” which sees him performing a selection of songs that helped shape his legendary talent.
Produced by guitarist Paul Nelson, the CD features such notable guests as Vince Gill, Warren Haynes, John Popper, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and more.
“For me, blues is a necessity,” says Winter, “one of the world’s premiere electric guitarists” (New Yorker) recently featured Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Guitarists of All Time.
