The weekend got off to a flying start on Friday night as Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler was a featured guest on The Tonight Show.
Tyler and fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson were on hand to promote the launch of Season 11 of the reality series.
Tyler & Jackson then teamed up with Aerosmith’s Joe Perry for a version of the band’s “Chip Away At The Stone.”
The song was originally released in 1978 as the only single to support the band's 1978 album “Live! Bootleg.”
Perry will return to the Tonight Show again on Monday, January 30, to help promote Amnesty International's latest music project, Chimes Of Freedom: The Songs Of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.
Perry recorded Dylan’s "Man Of Peace" for the compilation.
