While rumors continue about a possible 50th Anniversary tour by the Rolling Stones this year, drummer Charlie Watts says he’s up for it.
"It would be lovely to do some shows because it will be fifty years,” Charlie recently told the BBC. "Ronnie plays, I still play, Mick sings, he can do it anyway, I think Keith is doing some records.”
"Anyway it would be great if we did,” continued Watts, “We are just getting to an age where it's getting a bit difficult to get it together, and it's such a bloody performance getting us together."
The legendary drummer also explained why he thinks the band have stayed together for so long.
"I think no one wants to quit, because the other one will say you quit," said Charlie.
The Stones recently released two “Some Girls” projects: a reissue of the 1978 album, complete with a bonus disc containing 12 tracks from the original sessions; and, "Some Girls Live in Texas 1978" on DVD and Blu-ray.
The band also opened up the Rolling Stones Vaults, releasing the 1973 concert, “The Brussels Affair.”
