The Stone Temple Pilots frontman recently released his Christmas album, “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” which features Xmas standards in a variety of styles, including big band swing, orchestrated ballads, reggae, bossa nova and more.
In a new interview with CNN, Weiland explains his genuine love of the holiday season.
“I looked forward to it from, probably, the first day of school, every year until Christmas Day,” says Scott. “A lot of magical things happen at Christmas.”
“I’ve been given so much, I’ve been given so many gifts [in life],” Weiland continues, “I hope people are able to find some form of peace, and some form of love and understanding. If I could ask Santa for something…that’s what it would be.”
