Midway through the show, Metallica were joined by guitarist Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jerry Cantrell, Pepper Keenan and Jim Martin for a rousing rendition of Skynyrd’s “Tuesday’s Gone.”
Metallica has covered the Skynyrd classic many times through the years; it first appeared on 1998’s “Garage Inc.”
Friday’s gig was the third of four for Metallica; they wrap things up Saturday night in San Francisco.
