The series is down to the final nine contestants, who faced off Tuesday knowing that two of them will be cut on the results show Wednesday evening.
As for Josh, the singer nailed a Foo Fighters track last week, and he brought the house down Tuesday, again, with another rock classic.
Krajcik performed a solemn, solo piano rendition of The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses,” and you could have heard a pin drop in the studio.
Each contestant was asked to perform a song in dedication to an important person in his or her life; Krajcik chose his daughter, explaining that she was born when he was just 17 and had since broken up with her mother.
“The whole reason I’m here [on X Factor] is for her. I hope that she watches and says ‘Wow, that’s my dad.’”
