Nickelback tops the hennemusic Hot 10

Nickelback’s sense of humor tops this week’s hennemusic Hot 10.

The Canadian rockers were scheduled to play halftime at the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving game this past week as part of the national NFL broadcast.

An alleged Lions fan started an online petition to have the team remove Nickelback from the lineup, eventually signing up a reported 55,000 signatures.

The band took it in stride and created a video for humor site Funny Or Die, where they sought advice on how to deal with the Detroit situation.

The HH10 is a list of the most-viewed rock news stories in the past week by hennemusic readers.
