The event brought together a diverse collection of artists to support the special needs learning facility. Founded in 1986 by Pegi Young and Jim Forderer, with help from Dr. Marilyn Buzolich, the Bridge School develops and uses advanced technologies to aid in the instruction of children with disabilities. The first benefit concert, in 1986, raised the money necessary to start the school, which opened in ’87.

Today, Reprise Records is releasing two very special packages: a three-DVD set and a two-CD collection that feature unique live performances from many of the phenomenal artists who've performed at the beloved annual event over the past 25 years.

The Saturday concert was streamed live and carried by hennemusic. The first of two days included performances by Norah Jones, Beck, Mumford & Sons, Los Invisibles featuring Carlos Santana, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Arcade Fire and more.
Eddie Vedder was also on hand to deliver an acoustic set, featuring covers, solo material and Pearl Jam tracks. Vedder invited a couple of guests to join him at different points: Beck, and Regine Chassagne from Arcade Fire.
