Plant was acknowledged for the “Band Of Joy” release, and his co-producer/band leader Buddy Miller was honored in two categories: Artist Of The Year and Instrumentalist Of The Year. Miller has now won 12 AMHA honors over the years.
Robert received the award from The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, and he shared the stage with his Band Of Joy crew while accepting it, before the group performed “Monkey” from the album.
