The promo swing has already seen the band perform on Letterman, and it brought them to the UK, where Mastodon rocked the BBC’s Later with Jools Holland show Tuesday, performing the track, “Black Tongue.”
“The Hunter” debuted at #10 in the Billboard 200 albums chart after selling 39,000 copies in the States in its first week of release.
A US tour starts October 25 in Austin, Texas, with shows currently scheduled into December.
Mastodon are also featured on “A Tribute From Friends,” a new ZZ Top covers album; they do a version of “Just Got Paid.”
