From Montrose to solo, HSAS to Van Halen, from Los Tres Gusanos to solo, Planet Us to Van Halen (part deux), Sammy and The Waboritas to solo and, now, Chickenfoot, Sammy Hagar just never seems to stop putting out new music and playing live wherever he can.
Sammy and friends have been playing their traditional Birthday Bash week of shows at his club, the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate the occasion.
Last Friday, Sammy’s guests included Chickenfoot bandmates Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Kenny Aronoff, as well as Kenny Chesney and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger.
Sunday night was Chickenfoot’s turn, as the guys ripped through half of each of their two albums, the self-titled debut and the new “Chickenfoot III.”
Tuesday – carried live by hennemusic – it was Los Tres Gusanos (Hagar, Anthony and Lauser) with Vic Johnson, joined by guests Vinnie Paul (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah), Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk, and Aronoff.
Thursday night – LIVE from Cabo – join hennemusic as we present Sammy Hagar and, well, whoever shows up to play – LIVE starting around 11:30 PM ET.
