The band has released a 28-minute video featuring sound check on the 13th, Rob babble, meet and greet, Tuning Room stuff, “Blackened,” and the Big 4 jam on Motorhead’s “Overkill.”
The next gig on the band’s schedule is a headlining slot on September 25 at the Rock In Rio Festival; a few weeks later, Metallica play their first-ever gig in the United Arab Emirates, followed up by two shows in India.
December will be huge for Met Club members as Metallica celebrate their 30th Anniversary with four fan-club-only shows at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco on December 5, 7, 9, and 10.
Amongst all the live dates will come the October 31 release of “Lulu,” a collaboration between Metallica and Lou Reed - hear the first preview from that project here.
