The Canadian rockers announced that their new album, “Here And Now,” will be released November 21.
Produced by Nickelback and recorded at Mountain View Studios, Vancouver, BC, “Here and Now” is the band's seventh studio record and is the follow up to 2008's “Dark Horse,” which has been certified 3-times platinum, racking up over five million digital single sales and more than 52 million video plays over the course of the album's campaign.
"We're four people who love making music, the way we like to make it," says frontman Chad Kroeger. "We entered the studio this year with a vision, and it all came together. We're extremely happy with the results, and can't wait to share them with our fans."
Nickelback have sold almost 50 million albums worldwide; the band’s career kicked into gear with their huge 2001 breakthrough hit, "How You Remind Me,” and they have delivered rock radio hit after hit through the years.
To launch “Here And Now,” Nickelback will release two singles simultaneously.
"When We Stand Together" and "Bottoms Up" will ship to Pop and Rock radio stations respectively on September 26 and will be available for sale digitally the following day.
Nickelback will embark on a new world tour in support of the release in early 2012, with dates to be announced shortly.
