It’s Day 3 of the “20 Days of Pearl Jam Countdown” leading up to the release of the “Pearl Jam Twenty” film and soundtrack on September 20.

Today’s item is a video – provided by Record Store Day - with some guy in Seattle unveiling the goodies inside the “Pearl Jam Twenty” soundtrack. 29 rare and unreleased tracks, handpicked by filmmaker Cameron Crowe, are just a part of what’s waiting for Pearl Jam fans as part of the soundtrack.

It's not the most riveting video: they should have actually shown the contents up close – what you get is to be able to watch a guy open a CD….and that’s it. Really? Record Store Day couldn’t have spent any time shooting this in a more compelling way?

And, for some reason, Record Store Day and Vimeo think the content is so strong and unique that they have restricted embed access to the content – hardly in the spirit of what Pearl Jam represent, don’tcha think? Shameful.
