VIDEO: Yuto Miyazawa helps The Prezcotts cover Metallica classic

It was only a matter of time before a young pop group found a way to make Metallica music sound safe for the Disney crowd.

California sister act The Prezcotts make sugary-sounding pop, and have recorded a soft pop version of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” for their debut album.

Metallica recently added the video to their list of favourites on their youtube channel.

Before you dismiss The Prezcotts' version of the song, you may want to sit through it to hear the guitar solo by 11-year-old Japanese guitar prodigy Yuto Miyazawa.

Miyazawa has performed with Ozzy Osbourne, shredding on such tracks as “Crazy Train” – check out some of his work with Ozzy here.

"['Nothing Else Matters'] was a hard song to cover, especially since it is such an epic song!,” said The Prezcotts. “But we did our best and tried to bring our own style and spin on it. A special thanks to Yuto Miyazawa for that incredible solo!,” adding "This song is dedicated to all the people in Japan. Our prayers are still with you."
