The Day Tripper reports Sixx jumped off the stage into the crowd and attacked a fan with a professional-style camera. The band stopped playing while security guards came out, pulled Sixx back onto the stage and they removed a large, professional-style camera and its owner from the crowd.
“Taking care of f**king business!” shouted Tommy Lee after Sixx was pulled back onto the stage with his Crue mates.
The incident happened at the end of “Saints Of Los Angeles”; if you watch the video of that song, you can see Sixx is clearly pissed off, telling someone side stage “I’m going in” (at 2:37 mark) before the song ended and he leaped into the crowd.
Axl Rose pulled a similar stunt in St. Louis back in 1991, when a fan was videotaping the show; Rose jumped into the crowd and confiscated the camera before quitting the concert and walking off the stage – fans rioted and dozens of people were injured.
