That may well have been the philosophy of Sweden's biggest rock radio station Rockklassiker 106.7 when they decided to build a list of the Top 666 rock songs of all time, as voted by the station's listeners.
Fans voted in an online poll, submitting their top six tracks of all time, which was then built into a total top 666.
Deep Purple’s “Smoke On The Water” topped the list, with Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC rounding out the top 5.
In the big picture, AC/DC (28) and KISS (23) had the most entries, followed by Metallica (21), Guns N’ Roses (18), Iron Maiden (14), Deep Purple (11) and Black Sabbath (10).
