VIDEO: Cancer Bats rock Sonisphere with Black Sabbath set

Toronto’s Cancer Bats made a helluva impression at the recent UK stop of the Sonisphere Festival.

The band played two sets on the Bohemia stage: the first, as themselves; for the second, they assumed an alter-ego and played a full set of Black Sabbath covers under the name Bat Sabbath.

Singer Liam Cormier dressed the part for the second set, with a Sabbath-like cross around his neck and sporting a cape as he commanded the stage.

Both sets earned rave reviews and - thanks to YouTube poster TheBassExists - videos are online for music fans to share and check out.

Cancer Bats are touring in support of their latest release, “Bears, Mayors, Scraps And Bones” - for more info on the band, check out their website here.
