Linkin Park are all over the Transformers series of films, having provided tracks for both of the first two flicks; they're also big fans.

They’re back, again, with another contribution for the latest installment, “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon,” which hits theaters June 29.

Currently on tour in support of “A Thousand Suns,” the band will perform the song in Moscow's Red Square June 23 at the film’s premiere.

Linkin Park premiered the new video for “Iridescent” on Thursday via the MTV network of companies; it’s the lead single from the film’s soundtrack.

I’ve snagged the MTV video post; all others on YouTube are getting shut down by Warner Music as quickly as they’ve been posted. So, heads up – because it’s MTV US, the video below may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.

In the meantime, I’ll keep my eyes open for a globally-accessible version of the video.

UPDATE (SAT JUN 4):

I initially posted the MTV clip, but since they don't share videos outside of their own country, it was possible many non-US readers would not have been able to see it; as a result, I added a recent live version as an option for hennemusic visitors so they wouldn't come up empty-handed when stopping by to check out this story. Between MTV and Warner Music's policies, the impression was that the label - and possibly the band - weren't interested in having the footage go viral for their fans to share.

The band finally posted on their youtube channel, so I have updated the story with a globally-accessible video.
