Van Halen may be locked away in the recording studio these days working on their new album, but musicians always have time for friends to visit.
Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready stopped by the studio on Thursday, and Tweeted a photo of himself with Eddie Van Halen at the session (pic above).
While there’s still no update from the band on the status of the current album they’re working on with producer John Shanks, it was announced this week that VH will headline the 2011 edition of Soundwave Revolution, an annual music festival held in major cities around Australia.
Other major acts sharing the bill with VH are Hole, Alice Cooper, Machine Head, Danzig, Bad Religion, Alter Bridge, Versa Emerge, Sisters of Mercy and The Pretty Reckless; beyond that, there’s a ton of other bands involved.
