Don’t worry if you can’t make it: the May 10 and 11 concerts at Massey Hall are being filmed by director Jonathan Demme.
The dates are the final two shows on Neil’s spring solo tour in support of his 2010 album, “Le Noise,” produced by fellow Canadian Daniel Lanois.
The new movie-in-progress will act as the final installment in a concert film trilogy, joining 2006’s "Neil Young: Heart of Gold" and 2008’s "Neil Young Trunk Show."
If this all sounds a little familiar, “Live At Massey Hall 1971” was released in 2007, a recording which captured Neil at the legendary Toronto venue during his solo tour that year.
Following Wednesday’s concert, Neil heads out on the road for seven shows with the Buffalo Springfield reunion starting June 1 in Oakland.
