Still on the road in support of his 2010 self-titled solo album, Slash has been all over the world and back in the past year, including a brief, but high-profile guest slot with the Black Eyed Peas at the Super Bowl last month.
While on tour in Australia, Sydney’s Triple M radio caught up with Slash to see what’s on the horizon.
As it turns out, the guitarist is already working ahead on solo album number 2, tentatively due sometime in 2010.
"I'm touring around with a sort of mobile studio,” Slash told Triple M, “and we're working on material that I'm gonna do with Myles for the next record. And I'm looking at, probably... It'll be early next year."
On Slash’s debut, Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy sang two tracks, while Slash recently confirmed that Myles will sing everything on the guitarist's next solo effort.
Given that Slash is talking about solo album number two coming out next year, when is anyone going to have time to address that whole Velvet Revolver-needs-a-singer thing?
