A new Eddie Vedder track has surfaced.
“Longing To Belong” is being referred to as the first single from a forthcoming solo album by the Pearl Jam frontman, with early rumors suggesting it is due for release in May or June.
Just last week, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer referred to a Vedder solo album, and a live acoustic concert film DVD, with speculation they’ll both be out in May.
There’s also rumors about a possible US tour for Eddie, based on the following post to the Pearl Jam Ten Club message boards:
“Matt Cord, current 76ers PA announcer and radio DJ said that he heard that Eddie Vedder would be playing a solo show at Tower Theater sometime in June.”
Vedder is currently in the middle of a solo tour of Australia which wraps up at the end of the month.
