New solo album from Deep Purple bassist due in June

Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover has a new solo album up his sleeve.

“If Life Was Easy” is scheduled to be released in June; no label details have been announced yet.

The new album is Roger’s first since 2002’s “Snapshot; it was reportedly recorded in 2007. The project features Ronnie Bramblett on vocals, and two songs co-written and sung by Roger's daughter, Gillian Glover.

Meanwhile, Roger’s been on the road with Deep Purple, who just wrapped up a short tour of Mexico, and will be playing a series of dates in eastern Europe this month.
