For the ten-date run in April, Rodgers will be joined by Heart guitarist Howard Leese, bassist Lynn Sorenson, and drummer Jason Bonham.
"Jason played with [Aerosmith’s] Joe Perry and myself in L.A. recently,” said Rodgers, “and was so hot, that I asked him to join us for the U.K. tour."
Perry will join Rodgers for the April 27 gig at the Royal Albert Hall.
Rodgers is expected to perform new songs from his upcoming solo CD, plus hits from his extensive back catalogue.
"Developing the set-list is always a bit of a balancing act,” says Paul. “but in the U.K., it will be “Free-heavy” for the fans."
Supporting Rodgers are Down ‘N’ Outz, the Joe Elliott of Def Leppard-led band featuring members of The Quireboys.
