"So far, the songs are a real cross between swampy drums from the 60's and really thumpy bass," says Fortune. "There are some really cool melodies in these songs. So far, the demos we have recorded are more aggressive than anything that was on 'Switch.'"
While he doesn't estimate when a new INXS record will be finished let alone released, Fortune says he's still looking forward to the group's upcoming tour plans, some of which include Canadian gigs:
"We start a tour at the end of January in Australia, then play South America before coming back to Canada towards the end of March. The dates are still to be confirmed, but we're all really looking forward to heading back out on the road and playing live."
