I posted an item yesterday about a Metallica fan that needed some help locating a personal item that was lost at last Thursday’s “Call Of Duty: Black Ops” launch.

During the show at the Santa Monica Airport, Metallica fan Jeff Loya lost a cross pendant previously owned by his late father, and was trying to get the word out to see if someone could locate it and get it returned to him.
I was happy to lend Jeff a hand, and have some great news to pass along:
“I rec'd a call today,” said Jeff, “and another Met Club member identified it, and is sending it off (to me). AMAZING that this happened! Metallica fans are the best!”
Happy to hear that the story ends on a positive, rockin’ note.
