To launch the project, a documentary has been put together - "Kid Rock: Born Free" - which follows Rock during a two-day period where he visits with his family and friends before heading out on the road, culminating in a huge party at Rock’s farm in Clarkson, Michigan.
The documentary will debut online at MTV.com, VH1.com and CMT.com on Tuesday, November 16.
The documentary will also have its broadcast debut on CMT on Tuesday, November 16 at 11:30 am ET/PT, followed by VH1 on Friday at 10:30pm ET/PT and on MTV on Saturday, November 20 at 8pm ET/PT.
A preview clip has surfaced, showing Rock sitting down for dinner with his son, and talks about the importance of sharing family time even when he’s dealing with the hectic nature of life on the road.
