Michaels’ recapped the list of his medical challenges from this past year during his appearance, last Thursday, on The George Lopez Show.
Lopez ran down the history: “You’d had a broken nose, appendicitis, a brain hemorrhage, a warning stroke, a hole in your heart, diabetes.”
“With all those afflictions that you’ve suffered over the last year,” continued Lopez, “I would like to make you an honorary Latino. That’s all the stuff we got.”
“If you believe in karma, you must have done crazy s**t,” laughed Lopez.
“I’m thinking,” said Bret, “If karma comes back to get ya, I’ve either been Gandi or Attila The Hun and I killed a lot of people. I’m not sure which it is, but it’s all balanced out.”
The conversation also covered the Poison singer’s new VH1 series, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It", his personal life and his upcoming surgery to fix the hole in his heart.
