On Friday, Keith appeared on NBC’s Today Show and was interviewed by host Matt Lauer.
The two talk briefly about the Jagger/Richards dynamic and, at one point, Lauer plays armchair critic, and suggests that Mick Jagger is a control freak, “And I don’t mean that as a bad thing,” he states.
“Well, you said it,” responds Keith.
“I look at you and think: nobody’s gonna control Keith Richards,” adds Lauer.
“You put your finger on it, I didn’t,” answers Keith. “Mick is very much interested in controlling things, and I’m very much interested in being uncontrollable.”
