The song is featured on the soundtrack for “Eat Pray Love,” a new Julia Roberts film due out August 13; the soundtrack is set for release September 21.
You may remember the tune was originally “discovered”/leaked online back in June by fans trolling Pearl Jam’s record label website, Monkeywrench records (details here and here).
“Better Days” is one of two Vedder songs on the soundtrack; the other is “The Long Road”, featuring the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - that tune previously appeared on the "Dead Man Walking" soundtrack.
