The guitarist has been playing in Rihanna’s band for the past six months or so; I remember seeing Nuno with her on SNL in December and, again, on one of the New Year’s Eve shows. A North American tour has just been announced for the summer.
This week, Nuno and Rihanna showed up on American Idol, where she played her latest single, “Rockstar 101” (Slash appears on the album version).

In Extreme news: the group is releasing a live 2CD and DVD package called “Take Us Alive” – featuring the final show of the reunited band’s 2008 tour; the set was recorded at the House Of Blues in the band’s hometown of Boston. The package is out April 23 in Europe and May 4 in North America.
